Meet Damaris, the face and master educator behind Damaluxe Beauty. With 10+ years of experience in the beauty industry, she has done it all . Including building a business from scratch, twice! She not only has drive and passion for her work in helping the every day woman achieve her beauty goals but as a seasoned professional, her journey now is also about empowering like minded individuals discovery their potential and help them achieve their goals within the beauty industry as well.
Damaris take immense pride in her very own education. As someone with multiple certifications and degrees, she believes knowledge is power and the ultimate key to success! Facial Treatment Trainings
Microneedling
(Private 1:1 Training)
Calling all estheticians looking to level up their skills with advanced skincare treatments, great for all skin types. During this course you will learn in-depth how to conduct a microneedling treatment from start to finish. As well as proper sanitization, client safety and comfort. Pre treatment skin analysis, client consult, and so much more. You will also receive a full kit to service your first 15 treatments, our detailed manual, certificate of completion, live demo and model practice, as well as on going mentorship.

Dermaplaning
(Private 1:1 Training)
During this 1 DAY COURSE you will learn in-depth theory on how to conduct a dermaplaning treatment. You will learn proper sanitization, client safety and comfort. Pre treatment skin analysis. Competency in performing the dermaplaning procedure on the full face of a live model. Certificate of completion, and ongoing mentorship also included.

Training Policies
CLASS DEPOSITS
A 25% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to reserve your class date. This amount will be applied to the total payment and is non-refundable under any circumstance. Full payment is due 7 days prior to class date. We currently do not offer any payment plans but looking forward to doing so very soon.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
If you are unable to attend class, your reservation fee can be transferred (once) to another date within the same calendar year or to an individual who is able to attend.
Cancellations within 14 days will be subject to full payment. Policies are non-negotiable. Please respect these terms.
MODELS
A model is required for all trainings as part of the complication of the training in order to receive your certification. If you can not bring one we would be more than happy to provide one for you with enough notice.
GUESTS
No guests are allowed to accompany you to the training. Should anyone come with you they will be asked to wait out at our lobby or waiting area. All models are also only allowed in the training room during the time of hands on practice.

How long does teeth whitening take?The procedure can take anywhere around 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete. Depending your teeth sensitivity level but most clients last 1 hour under the LED lamp.

Is teeth whitening safe?Yes. Many people believe teeth whitening is not safe, which is far from the truth. When done professionally, teeth whitening is very safe. What is important to understand is that overdoing it can be harmful. The enamel is temporarily stripped during the whitening process which, if overdone, can be harmful to the teeth long-term.

When will I see results?Your teeth will be several shades whiter immediately after the treatment but continue to lighten for up to 48 hours after treatment

How much whiter will my teeth get?Your teeth will be upwards of eight shades whiter from the initial shade. However, the degree of whiteness hinges on the hue your teeth as well as the level of staining on your teeth. Even the mineral content of your teeth plays a role in determining the whitest possible shade.

Does teeth whitening hurt?There might be a slight feeling of discomfort for those who have a bit more of sensitivity. However, teeth whitening is typically painless for most clients.

Will teeth whitening damage my teeth?Not ours! Our teeth whitening methods do not cause any short-term or long-term damage to tooth enamel or dentin. We can help ensure to protect your gums during the procedure in our office. Alternatively, if you choose at-home or in dentist office teeth whitening products, there is the potential for the strong bleaching agent cause sensitivity. We specifically use carbamide peroxide vs hydrogen peroxide as it has about a third of the strength of hydrogen peroxide but is just as effective.

How long will the teeth whitening last?In most cases, the whitening lasts for a full year. However, the results of teeth whitening hinge on your unique lifestyle, food consumption and commitment to oral care. Meaning if you drink a lot of black coffee or red meat you might need to come in at around 8 months vs 1 year.

How often can I get teeth whitening?You can come as soon as 6 weeks since you last procedure to avoid any sensitivity. And once you have reached your desired look or your teeth has reached the lightest it can go you can schedule your maintenance for a year out.

Does teeth whitening work on crowns, fillings, or other dental restorations?No. Unfortunately teeth whitening only improves the shade of regular teeth. This does not include dead teeth.

I have an event coming up, when should I whiten my teeth for the best results?We advise you come in the week of the event. However for best results we advise you to whiten your teeth at least 6 weeks prior to the event. So just in case you want to whiten your teeth even more you have enough time for a touch-up.

Is a teeth cleaning necessary before teeth whitening?While we will eliminate stains and plaque during the whitening process, teeth whitening is not a substitute for cleaning. If there is visible tartar on the exterior of teeth, we highly recommend a teeth cleaning prior to a teeth whitening for best results.

At what age can teeth whitening take place?For the most part, teeth whitening can take place once a person reaches their teenage years. Teeth whitening is generally not recommended for children or anyone who still has baby teeth. Adults are typically the best candidates for the procedure because their teeth are developed and have years of stains.

Can I brush my teeth after whitening?Yes, you should absolutely brush your teeth after having them whitened. Try using a tooth whitening toothpaste with a high concentration of fluoride to help keep the stains away. And try to use lukewarm water to avoid sensitivity.

Can I eat after my teeth whitening?You sure can! Just steer clear of staining agents in your food for the next 24-48 hours such as soy sauce, marinera sauce, red wine, red meat etc. Basically if it will stain a white shirt, it will stain your teeth.

Can teeth whitening gel be used on my sensitive teeth?The tolerance for teeth whitening gel varies from person to person. Certain clients endure reversible tooth sensitivity. While others have gum irritation after the use of whitening gel. However, reducing the length of teeth whitening sessions and upping the length of time between sessions will minimize sensitivity and irritation.
